Bilbee Controls conduction type thermostats do not use typical bonded bimetalic strips. The contacts are opened and closed by expansion and contraction of the base plate resulting in vertical movement of the specially-formed, low-expansion thermal spring. as shown in the cut-away animation here.

However we do not want rule out the fact that someone may have requirements that fall outside our standard product range.
